Mission Statement
Our mission is to seek out forgotten, disadvantaged elementary-aged children and provide training and encouragement on a path toward Christian leadership. Children and their families are given hope through a ministry of Christ’s love, and foundations are provided to meet basic needs (such as food, clothing, and medical care). Spiritual development of children will be focused on Bible-based training and weekly club activities.
Directors
Bryan Kopesky, Founder, President, Chairman

Bryan is the Founder and President of Mighty Hearts International. He, along with his wife Tracy, and two daughters, Dani and Kori, first visited Peru in 2005. It was thought to be a one-time trip but after seeing the incredible work being done through the Corazones Felices (Happy Hearts) program Bryan was compelled to return. In the time since, Bryan has visited Peru over ten times and remains dedicated to helping Mighty Hearts International make a difference in the lives of the children in Peru. Looking forward, Bryan would like to expand Mighty Hearts efforts into other countries as well. As a retired professional from Kimberly Clark, Bryan uses his experience and leadership skills to help develop the vision of Mighty Hearts International and to make this vision become reality. He is reminded daily that God is in everything we do and is inspired by the numerous ways God has filled in the blanks throughout the years. In addition to spending time with his family, Bryan enjoys tackling numerous building and remodeling projects and connecting with people from all walks of life.
Jason Gellings, Founder, Vice President, and Treasurer

Jason is Vice President and Treasurer for Mighty Hearts International. He is currently a Business Intelligence Developer at Jewelers Mutual Insurance Company in Neenah. His experience with statistical analysis and technical solutions has been a valuable asset as Mighty Hearts continues to grow. While on a mission trip to Peru in 2006, Jason was struck by the poverty that many families were living in. Since then it has been on his heart to help the children of Peru live better lives both physically and spiritually. Jason, along with his wife Melissa, has taken a number of trips to Peru participating in ESL trips and Medical Missions trips. Jason’s faith has been strengthened immensely through these experiences. He is deeply encouraged by the way he has seen God work in people’s lives, open unexpected doors, and provide resources for Mighty Hearts to succeed. Jason is also a huge sports fan and enjoys following the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers, and North Carolina Tarheels.
Ryan Lins, Founder, Vice President, Secretary

Ryan has also been with Mighty Hearts International since its inception and currently serves as secretary and sits on the Board of Directors. He developed a heart for children in need on a mission trip to Peru in 2006. Since then Ryan has been an active part in growing Mighty Hearts from the ground up and has learned a lot about his faith along the way. Seeing people living out their God given calling every day has been a great source of inspiration to Ryan. He put it best when saying, “Working with Mighty Hearts has brought my faith alive!” Professionally, Ryan works in Business Development and Sales for J.J. Keller in Neenah, WI. Together with his wife Kelly, they are the proud parents of one-year-old Josiah. He is a self-proclaimed “outdoorsman” and loves to hunt and fish in his free time. He is also a former member of the National Guard and graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point.
