Countdown to True Christmas
Yes, here it comes!
In just 15 days, our team in Peru will head out to several hand-picked cities far from their homes to bring hope, joy and love to thousands of poor children.
The project is a huge undertaking and already set in motion. Martin, the project leader, and others are busy with many tasks including assigning teams to the various cities, scheduling transportation, choreographing skits, songs and dances, selecting and ordering gifts, raising funds in Peru, and praying for God’s will to be done.
True Christmas is life changing for many—not only for the children but for their parents and, as we found last year, for the volunteers. It’s a time when kids learn that strangers care and Jesus loves them. It’s also a time when volunteers and donors have the privilege to bless others as they have been blessed.
Please join us in one or more of the following ways as you are “nudged” by the Lord:
1. Give generously to support this year's True Christmas work
2. Pray that the many tasks will be accomplished, that the volunteers will have God's protection and that the children and parents will hear the true message of Christmas.
3. Go – Next year we are planning to join the team in Peru for True Christmas. Let us know through our website if you are interested.
